Sales/Processing Administrator

Job Description

My client a manufacturer of high-quality windows and doors have a vacancy for a Window & Door Processor in both their trade and commercial Sales department. Reporting to the processing manager you will check, schedule and process customer quotes and orders on UPVC, timber and aluminium. Using your keen eye for detail you will self-check quotes and orders to ensure the accuracy of data input.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the correct and accurate interpretation of customer specification, dealing with any variations to enable a full evaluation, prior to the response to an enquiry
  • Meet customer deadlines to ensure timely submissions of quotations by providing quality submissions which can be converted to order (Attention to detail is key)
  • Dealing with telephone queries and written correspondence relating to quotes and orders
  • Ensure that there are no overdue quotations, keeping the customer and the department supervisor informed (PVC 24hr, Timber 48hr & Aluminium 24hr. Average but subject to change)
  • Process all orders to the final specification and confirm to customer in an order acknowledgement
  • Work with the NCR data to drive improvements within your own skills and as a department Complete all orders ensure panels or any other additional items are ordered
  • Delay customer deliver dates in line with requirements informing customer via email or phone call.
  • Focus on the prioritization of workflow to ensure maximum efficiency

Skills + Experience

  • Check the information contained within the panel orders are accurate and check the acknowledgements
  • Set up TNT
  • To meet current KPI’s in respect to orders and quotations
  • Take responsibility and drive your own development using the skill matrix and use the support resource
  • Use skills appropriate to coach new members of staff on current working practices
  • Maintain CRM System keeping account information up to date
  • Ensure all opportunities are closed as won or lost
